Our NEW Virtual Learning Program at New Wonders meets the needs of working families, is convenient, affordable, and designed to provide positive and enriching experiences for our students. Our program fosters academic achievement, social and emotional development and physical health and wellbeing through hands on learning and fun activities during this pandemic.
COVID POLICIES Quick Reference Guide:
Masks: Masks are required to be worn by all children during indoor play time. Masks are removed and stored in individual Ziplock bag or on a lanyard during schoolwork, outdoor playtime, snack, and lunch times.
Seating: Children will have individual areas and chairs that will be sanitized multiple times throughout the day. Desks/tables are easily moved to maintain social distancing.
Materials each child must bring in:
- Printed schedule with assignments and login information.
- Personal learning device with charger
- Headphones
- All materials necessary for the day (all writing material, scissors, paper/notebooks, ...)
- Large plastic container to store daily materials in labeled with child’s name and a 2-pocket folder
- Mask and Ziplock bag
Meals: Morning Session includes breakfast. School Day Session includes am snack and lunch. After School Session includes pm snack.
Drop off/Pick up: Parents are asked to stay outside during both drop off and pick up. A marked location will be provided for parents to sign in/out and take child temps. All children will be temperature checked and be asked required health and safety questions upon arrival.
Space and Programming: Outdoor space will be used weather permitting. Children will stay with same groups throughout program to minimize contact. They will never mix with regular daycare children.
Cleaning: All areas of New Wonders are cleaned hourly. We use registered EPA compliant cleaners that meet COVID CDC guidelines as well.
